Devastation: Frank Came to Town

These photos were taken the day after Frank's visit.

The flood carried lots of debris which it deposited in our homes.

There used to be houses in this place.

More debris from the mountains deposited here.

The current of the flood was so strong that it crumpled this house.

Logs aplenty! Illegal logging? Probably.

Everything is floating inside our home.

Our kitchen is a mess! Who left the faucet open?!

More debris.

The flood destroyed not only bamboo fences but also those made of concrete.

Jessie trying to figure out what to do...

More debris.

Besides debris, Frank also generously deposited thick, sticky, slimy silt on our roads.

The Flood.

The flood at 6 feet.

Look at the houses in the background.

Sticky silt. It's very difficult to walk in these.

Flood waters at four feet.

Flood waters at five feet.

Fence walls and steel gates? Frank did not mind -- he visited them all.
